TEKBOAT Technologies (“TEKBOAT”, “we”, “us”) operates this website as an electronic-component discovery and enquiry platform. We help engineers and procurement teams search a live catalogue, review technical information, and send a requirement to our team. This site is not an online store. We do not take payment, run a shopping cart, or complete checkout on this website.

Information we collect
We collect only what we need to answer a requirement or a message:
- Enquiry forms: name, email, mobile number, company name, city, country, quantity, preferred contact method, part numbers, manufacturer names, and your message. We also store a product snapshot of the parts you selected so our team can quote the same items.
- Contact forms: name, email, phone, company, subject and message.
- Enquiry list and compare list: part identifiers you add in your browser session so you can send one enquiry or compare specifications. These are not used to build a marketing profile.
- Search logs: the search term, result count, and whether the catalogue responded. We do not attach these logs to your name or email.
- Technical logs: IP address and basic request data may be recorded when you submit a form or when administrators review activity, for security and abuse prevention.
- Admin accounts: name, email, role and login session for authorised TEKBOAT staff only.
Catalogue photographs, part numbers, prices (if shown) and datasheet links come from our authorised product-data provider. That is product data, not your personal data.
How we use information
- To acknowledge your enquiry with a reference number (for example TB-YYYY-NNNNNN) and to follow up with availability, pricing or sourcing.
- To reply to contact messages and website support requests.
- To improve search, fix errors, and understand which keywords return results — without identifying you.
- To protect the site against spam, automated abuse and unauthorised admin access.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your enquiry details for unrelated advertising.
Sharing
Your enquiry is handled by TEKBOAT staff. We may share part requirements with authorised distributors or manufacturers solely to source the components you asked about. Email is sent through our configured mail service so you and our team receive copies of an enquiry. We do not place your data on public directories.
We may disclose information if required by Indian law or to protect TEKBOAT, our customers, or the public from fraud or security threats.
Retention
Enquiry and contact records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the requirement, maintain business records, and resolve disputes — typically for the life of the commercial relationship and a reasonable period afterwards. Search logs are operational records and are not used to identify you. You may ask us to update or delete personal data we hold, subject to any legal retention duty.
Security
We use HTTPS, access-controlled administration, and store enquiry records in our database. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Please do not send payment card numbers through enquiry or contact forms; this website does not process card payments.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing sales@tekboat.in. You may also decline to submit a form; we cannot process an enquiry without the required contact fields.
Children
This website is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
